Nancy, on this Feast of the Holy Family, who had many struggles, this is a beautiful reflection on our gift of life in this world. Jesus and Mary lost their 12 year old son for three days and then found him! We don’t always know. Sometimes we find out and sometimes we don’t. But we embrace the moments, good and bad, and we Love through all of them. You know this and do it so well.
i take great strength -- often, in fact -- from the remembrance / prayer of Socrates, that "I know that I know nothing" ... also sometimes translated as "I know there are things that I don't know" ... there's a beautiful sentiment in not knowing and still having faith .. still choosing to love ... still choosing to write despite it all.
Another moving piece, Nancy! (also a synchronicity in that Erica got me a book this year called "Mysteries" .. written by Bill Watterson, (of Calvin and Hobbes) ... really a kind of modern fable on why and how the mysteries of life will always be bigger than anything we can make sense of.)
beaming in some shared celebration of the exuberant joy of cooperative discovery ... :")
Thanks, Sean. I look forward to writing with you in 2025! We are moved to write, and I don't know why . . . .
Beautiful. You’ve got to feel it to heal it. 🙏🌹💟
And we’re feeling big time, Miki!

I truly love how you write. It always speaks to me. Thank you.
Wow, this hit me right where I am! I loved the line, "You've got to feel it to heal it!"
Hoping 2025 is full of good feeling 😊

Correction: Joseph and Mary
Dear Maggie, I knew you meant Joseph and Mary. There are some things I know. :) And I love your faith. Please keep sharing it with me, my friend.
